Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, is one of the architects who best demonstrated unique exercises in rationality and practicality, placing man and his "living space" at the center of the scene. Examples, often debatable, of this genius can be found in many of his works, from individual buildings like Villa Savoye to actual urban plans for large cities.

Among the works and studies he developed over the years, a particular mention should be made of the "minimum" concept, which has its origins in some sketches produced from 1926 onwards.

In 1936, following the extreme rationalization of spaces, with the aim of creating a simple, economical car intended to motorize the world, the "Minimum" concept took the form of an automobile.

A car that never saw the light of day until 1987, when Giugiaro created a model to honor Le Corbusier's work, declaring that "this car is so full of inventive touches that even today it must be considered among the most advanced proposals," words that I would confirm even today, January 1, 2021.
