Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, is one of the architects who has best succeeded in producing exercises of unique rationality and concreteness, placing man and his "living space" at the center of the stage. Examples, often debatable, of this genius can be found in many of his works, from individual buildings like Villa Savoye to actual urban plans for large-scale cities.

Among his works and studies developed over the years, special mention must be made of the "minimum" concept, which finds its origins in some sketches produced from 1926 onwards.

In 1936, in the wake of extreme space rationalization, with the aim of creating a simple, economical car intended to motorize the world, the "Minimum" concept took the form of an automobile.

A car that never saw the light of day until 1987, when Giugiaro created a model to honor Le Corbusier's work, declaring that "this car is so rich in inventive touches that even today it is to be considered among the most advanced proposals," words that I would confirm even today, January 1st, 2021.
